Julia Cole
Yoga Instructor
Yoga has had a transformative and holistic effect on my life. This spiritual practice has helped me physically with the recovery of various injuries and balancing the activities I perform regularly including weightlifting, snowboarding, mountain biking, running and hiking. I find yoga to be a way of life which has had a profound impact on me by creating a calm presence, overcoming challenges and nourishing my mindfulness. Teaching yoga allows me to follow my passion and purpose in life of helping others.
Additional to my yoga teacher training at Moksana, I completed my Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy and practice as an Athletic Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and I teach yoga to various sports teams in the community. As an Athletic Therapist, I incorporate yoga into my practice as I recognize the benefits it has in recovery from injury and improving performance.
I am very passionate about focusing on form, alignment, and injury prevention during my yoga classes, while still facilitating breathing and mindfulness. With a sound background in anatomy and physiology, I aspire to bridg the gap between science and spirituality providing a safe environment to develop one’s yoga practice.
