Julia
Yoga Instructor

When I was 13 years old, my cousin taught me yoga at a family reunion. I remember thinking the poses (although challenging at first) felt familiar and natural. I had an instant connection with the practice.

In 2016, I finally took my first 200-hour YTT, which started a snowball effect. I mentored under an advanced instructor in Vancouver and took additional vinyasa training. On the flip side, yoga sparked a curiosity in mindfulness and energy work. I studied for certifications in meditation instruction, mindfulness at work, reiki, and emotional intelligence coaching.

Eventually, I left behind a career in sustainability consulting to pursue my passion for yoga and coaching full-time.

Since then, I've developed a love for instructing vinyasa flow. My classes emphasize energizing music and messages that help you cultivate self-compassion and connect with your inner world.

Besides instructing yoga, you can find me salsa dancing, exploring nature, and at the beach taking a cold dip!
