Yoga/Pilates Instructor

I have had a passion for movement for as long as I can remember. An avid runner for most of my life, it was an injury which lead me to Yoga and Pilates 18 years ago. I have never looked back!

Holding a Specialized Honors degree in Physical Education, the path towards teaching has been a natural one! I received my STOTT Pilates Mat Certification in 2015 and my Yoga Certification in 2017. Since then I have been inspired to continue my health and wellness studies while balancing a full-time career in the health sciences. In my spare time you can find me hiking, hanging out at the beach and gardening. Iā€™m obsessed with HGTV, interior design and love to refinish furniture.

I enjoy the whole experience of teaching yoga, from creating challenging and fun classes to connecting with my students and witnessing the profound changes that can occur with a mind/body practice. My style of teaching focuses on alignment, attention to technique and moving with the breath. You will always be encouraged to listen to the teacher within as we move our bodies mindfully to some fantastic tunes! Passionate about the benefits of both Pilates and Yoga, I am honored to share my learnings with others.
