Yoga Instructor

Through the exploration of breath, sound and movement, Rena’s mission is to create inclusive and accessible spaces to empower people to rebuild relationship to mind, body and spirit. For over a decade she has been a classroom teacher, specializing in music. Rena has completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training (300-hour therapeutic yoga training), in addition to the Applied Mindfulness Meditation Certificate (University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies) and is a certified smartUBC (Stress Management and Resiliency Techniques) mindfulness facilitator.

Since 2020, she has been enrolled in the Yoga Therapy program at Ajna Yoga, and is currently completing her final supervision hours to become a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). Her current offerings include: therapeutic yoga (1:1, small group series), restorative yoga and sound baths.
